Organizations may initiate, by letter to the Foundation’s Grant Committee, a request for funding. The request should be concise and include the following:
A cover letter stating the amount of the grant request, signed by an official authorized to make commitments for the organization
A description of the proposed project and its relationship to the interest and goals of the TCF.
An estimate of the project’s duration.
A description of the proposed agency, its goals, and its relationship with existing public and private agencies and services.
Qualifications and brief resume of the program directors.
A proposed budget.
A reference to other funding sources.
Plans for evaluation of the effectiveness of the project.
A copy of IRS 501 (c) (3) designation.
The names of the agency officers and board of directors.
